White storks at dusk

Description

Storks are large, long-legged, long-necked wading birds with long, stout bills. I photographed these birds in Latvia. There is hardly any bird in Europe as well-known as the white stork. The two storks are looking for food at dusk. White storks are definitely not fussy eaters. Their preferred foods are small mammals, frogs, and large insects such as grasshoppers.
